Malaysia’s Budget 2025 will be tabled in Parliament on 18 October 2024. In line with the “Ekonomi MADANI Negara Makmur, Rakyat Sejahtera” theme, Budget 2025 is a continuation of Ekonomi MADANI, a long-term economic framework aimed at raising the ceiling of the nation’s economic potential and improving the standard of living for its people.
To achieve the country’s economic reforms, Budget 2025 will focus on three key thrusts: to raise the ceiling in terms of restructuring the economy and boost national competitiveness; raise the floor in terms of improving the quality of life of Malaysians and inclusiveness of opportunities; as well as strengthening good governance and public sector reform especially enhancing transparency and efficiency.
