Experience

Mohamad Nasir joined Grant Thornton in 2001 and has wide-ranging experience in providing transaction advisory, risk management, and business advisory services.

He deals with a wide range of companies from small local entrepreneurial organisations to large international trading and manufacturing companies, as well as companies listed on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. He also assists clients with corporate advisory matters such as business valuations, due diligence reviews, strategic performance review, risk management, investigative audits and internal audit.

Sector experience

Amongst the related experience involved are:-

• Leading Partner of an independent business review and investigation review exercise on a company involved in the renewable energy industry to collect evidence on any mismanagement made by the management which resulted in the default of the loan
• Leading Partner of an independent review and providing a fair and objective assessment on cost-benefit analysis and sensitivity analysis on 5 aquaculture projects
• Leading Partner of an investigative review on the salary and expenses of an oil and gas subsidiary incorporated in Malaysia
• Leading Partner of an investigative review engagement on a garment manufacturer
