Toshihiko Takagi is the Japan Desk director of Grant Thornton Malaysia.

Experience

Toshihiko had been with Grant Thornton Taiyo LLC for over 8 years and was in charge of some audit teams. Combining listed market experience with international groups and strong technical expertise, he delivers consistent global audit quality, wherever and whenever our clients need it. He had worked on audits for various clients (manufacturing industry, warehousing, software etc.) and possesses a strong understanding of auditing.

Toshihiko started his role as the Japan Desk Director for Grant Thornton Malaysia in September 2022. He provides support to Japanese companies in Malaysia in various areas such as incorporation and other practical matters, tax and audit.

Since 2024, he has been an observer on Tax Committee of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Malaysia (JACTIM). He assists Japanese companies in resolving tax issues.

Toshihiko is also a speaker in seminars for Japanese companies. The topics are all areas, e-Invoice, Transfer Pricing, and new tax budget.
